Our People
President and Founder
My name is Paul Sand. I was the libertarian party candidate for Governor of Idaho in 2022. I won the statewide primary election against the party's endorsed candidate by a 60/40 margin. I also served on my local city council for ten years from 2007 to 2017. My experience in local government includes working with other taxing districts, school boards, and county, state and federal government agencies. Our city is very small but we had all the same types of issues that affect all other incorporated cities.
I've worked with computers since the earliest days of the digital era and started more than a dozen computer businesses over a 60 year career. I lived and worked in Spokane Washington for about 13 years, where I met my current wife, 26 years ago. We are now 77 years old, and I very likely may not live to see the outcome of this project.
I am not taking any salary for my work here. Our social security benefits are our only income. I've donated all the setup and prior operating expense for ESR and provide it with office space and internet access at my home. All donations will go to fund ongoing operating expenses and program outreach efforts.
